The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions. As the Manager, Continuous Replenishment Planning (CRP) organization, you will be customer focused providing leadership to a team of skilled CRP Planners. You will assist in the design and implementation of world class planning and replenishment processes to achieve objectives for service, inventory management, and operating goals. You will work closely with Medtronic's top USA distributor partners to manage their inventory replenishment needs based on provided forecasts as well as our Distributor Operations, Finance, and Distribution Center Operations teams to meet shared goals.

You will:

  • Assist in developing and the implementation of integrated logistics strategies.

  • Deliver operational results for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service.

  • Implement and maintain practices that utilize system capabilities to balances freight, inventory and service

  • Build and maintain a high performance organization (staffing, training, coaching, motivating).

  • Drive for cross-functional continuous improvement in systems and supply chain activities from forecasting, warehousing, transportation, inventory management, replenishment ordering, and our customer's receipt of goods.

  • Professionally manage Medtronic's partnership with our significant domestic customers.

  • Ensure operational efficiency, effectiveness and accountability of the CRP team.

  • Identify and advocate for necessary training and tools to achieve a world class team.

  • I dentify and take action on opportunities, issues, and problems in a changing environment.

  • Travel: Less than 10%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Customer Service

  • 3+ years in managing staff

  • Planning and inventory management experience

  • Customer service experience

  • Knowledge of distribution, logistics, warehousing and transportation in a highly regulated industry

  • Experience in MRP and ERP systems including JDA Manugistics, JDEdwards E1, SAP (APO, ECC)

  • Demonstrated use of Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Ability to cultivate an environment focused on customer satisfaction, through building productive external and internal relationships

  • Experience with hands-on utilization of current supply chain software applications and systems

  • Strong project planning and management capabilities

  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders

  • Knowledge of finance, DC operations, sales, marketing, customer service, and distributor relation functions

  • APICS certification
