The Copywriter, a key role on the Content Strategy and Operations team, will create compelling early stage/awareness content based on a thorough understanding of NICE inContact audience persona needs, business objectives, and best practices. The ideal Copywriter, passionate about developing great content and tenacious about execution, will play a key role in driving awareness and demand creation.
You'll be responsible for crafting an array of top-of-funnel, best-practice content for use in blogs and social. In addition, you'll collaborate with product marketing, corporate comms and demand gen teams to identify and create derivative content from original assets. To be successful, you will need an understanding of content lifecycle management, including taxonomy and metadata best practices, traffic management, web publishing, content syndication and social media management technologies.
Based anywhere in the US, a typical day for the NICE inContact Copywriter might include
Leveraging your creativity, research and interview skills to identify best-practices content topics and generate copy that increases engagement and influences the conversion of audiences into buyers
Producing a steady stream of high-quality and engaging original and derivative content optimized for SEO and leveraged across various channels and use cases. (including but not limited to blogs, infographics, video scripts, podcasts, emails, web copy, and so on)
Utilizing campaign themes and messaging, keyword research, messaging themes, competitive information and content performance analytics to inform your content creation
Editing content created by you and other publishers to ensure external-facing content meets brand, editorial, and content governance guidelines to ensure quality and improve findability within the context of the content ecosystem
Collaborating with the Digital Marketing team to ensure content is aligned to the SEO keyword universe and strategy to ensure strong inbound traffic and search engine rankings on the copy/content your produce
To Land This Gig You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, journalism, advertising, communications or related field (or equivalent work experience)
4+ years of related B2B copywriting experience within a high-tech industry
Incredible writing, editing and proofing skills and the work-product portfolio to back it up. *Only candidates who submit a current portfolio will be considered
High level of comfort ghostwriting for subject matter experts
Innate ability to grasp complex concepts and convert them into clear, consumable content
