This position is responsible for a variety of specialized duties to support payroll functional operations. The duties focus on weekly payroll transactions and processing related to all components of pay/payments.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Performs, monitors and supports transaction processing for all components of pay
Reviews information/data and makes decisions within well-defined guidelines, parameters, and instructions, checks information for accuracy
Support the onboarding of new business with appropriate detail and customer service standards.
Perform issue resolution from various sources with appropriate research, analysis, employee information updates/corrections, and timely follow-up as needed
Provides outstanding, consistent service to our customers
Responsible for timely completion of error/defect free work, checks own work for accuracy
Complies with Federal/State regulations, as well as company policies, procedures and deadlines
Contacts various locations as needed for special payroll processing exceptions, supporting management with escalated/urgent processing needs
Updates excel spreadsheets, information and reports according to established department procedures
Coordinates and processes final/special pay transactions compliant with company policies/procedures based on state requirements
Sorts, files and maintains payroll transaction source documents according to department standards
Completes keyboarding projects such as preparing correspondence and mailings
