Warehouse Coordinator

The Opportunity

Goodman is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Warehouse Coordinator position. This position's responsibilities include coordinating the daily functions of warehouse personnel and processes including maintaining inventory and processing deliveries and ensure accuracy of shipping and receiving of supplies/parts. Responsibilities

May include:

  • Warehouse duties: Learn forklift, proper loading and stacking techniques, filling customer orders
  • Transfer inventory, shipping and receiving of materials
  • Operate forklift, housekeeping, support internal and external customers
  • Work with the branch manager to ensure employee relations within the warehouse are effective and positive
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of the warehouse employee timekeeping
  • Manage the warehouse purchasing and inventory paying special attention to inventory control and asset protection
  • Complete cycle counts based on SOX requirements
  • Keep warehouse clean and presentable
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years experience
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Completion of High School required. College education an asset
  • Knowledge of computer systems within warehouse including MS Outlook
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of safe work practices
