The Test and Shop Operations Supervisor will have supervision responsibilities for all Florida technicians and RCS engineers supporting the model fabrication shop and test operations.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:


  • Providing mentorship on priorities in the fabrication shop when there are conflicts

  • Working closely with the RCS Test Chief and the Model Shop Quality Chief to ensure all shop and test staff proficiency levels are being evaluated and documented

  • Supporting and empowering the lead technicians in the model shop, RCS test and IR operations

  • Crafting and maintaining a work environment that supports partnership, learning/development, empowerment and innovation

  • Ensuring respect of the quality, EHS and security compliance policies

  • Providing mentorship and guidance to the team

  • Providing clear and productive feedback during connect meetings and other performance based evaluations.


Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree in electrical engineering or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience working with radar systems

  • Understanding of the RF/Analog, Digital, and Software building blocks of a radar system

  • Technical electronic, mechanical, and data analysis skills in support of RCS test operations

  • Technical, electronic, mechanical and computer skills in support of troubleshooting and routine maintenance of pulsed-IF radar systems and their peripheral equipment

  • Radar system hardware and software integration

  • Antenna Theory and Circuit Analogue Modeling

  • Radar Cross-Section Modeling And Measurements

  • Radar Cross-Section Reduction And Control Techniques

  • Physical And Geometrical Optics

  • RF absorbing materials, Clutter mitigation techniques

  • Electromagnetic Material Applications

  • Active government Secret personnel security clearance


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisor experience

  • Experimental Fixture Design
