During an exciting time of business growth and expansion, Pratt & Whitney is seeking a senior administrative assistant that will provide support to Pratt & Whitney's West Palm Beach, Florida campus and recently named Vice President, Site and Development Operations.
Responsibilities:


  • You will oversee the management office to include record retention, conference room scheduling, supplies procurement and coordination of general office activities.

  • You will maintain the vice president's daily agenda/calendar by scheduling meetings/appointments and making adjustments based on changing priorities and conflicts.

  • Schedule domestic and international travel itineraries and completing expense reports in a timely and efficient manner in alignment with all Company policies.

  • Prepare presentation material and reports for a range of local and headquarters-based meetings and business reviews.

  • Organize site-wide meetings and events in collaboration with the Communications function.

  • Provide project management support including partnering task tracking.

  • Respond to a variety of employee, leadership and executive e-mail and telephone inquiries.

  • Process invoices from input to payment and closure.

  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization (i.e. production/maintenance, professional, managerial, executive) and external customers.

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?

  • Associate's degree (or other 2-year post high school training/work experience)

  • 6+ years of work experience inclusive of providing general office and/or administrative assistant support

What about these Preferred Qualifications?

  • Prior work experience which includes providing administrative support to senior-level/executive leadership personnel

  • Proven experience navigating conflicting priorities in a complex and matrixed organization while maintaining high levels of customer/client satisfaction

  • Demonstrated successes in overseeing large events such as all-hands meetings, fundraising/community service efforts, open houses, etc.

  • Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • SAP applications

  • Exposure to manufacturing work environments including interactions with hourly bargaining unit personnel
