Job Description:

Dynata is searching a Benefits Assistant / Coordinator to join our Shelton, CT based team. We have a fast paced, fun environment with offices across the country. Attention to detail, multi-tasking, good organizational, problem-solving and management skills will make the candidate successful.

  • Assist in the overall management of US and Canada benefits

  • Reconciling carrier invoices

  • Skilled in entering data running reports within carrier portals

  • Proficient in running reports in HRIS software systems

  • Understanding and knowledge of Canada benefits and retirement plans

  • Understanding and knowledge of US benefits and 401K plans

  • Assist with annual open enrollment and assist employees with the process which may include fielding benefit questions and knowledge of the Dynata plans

  • Provide consultation and guidance analyzing situations and using sound judgment.

  • Proactively identifies business needs and aligns HR strategy by building a strong partnership with internal customers.

  • Special projects handling.


  • Willingness to work out of our Westport, CT office a few days a week.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

  • Proven ability to analyze situations and provide sound judgment.

  • Proficient organizational and time management skills.

  • Operate: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

  • Workday Experience is a plus


  • Minimum Two years working in a Human Resource department and assisting with benefits administration.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or PHR/SPHR preferred.
