SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and versatile Infrastructure Disaster Recovery Services Analyst Engineer who will be responsible for the overall architecture design, implementation, and maintenance of an evolving global large-scale, highly available, 24x7, enterprise IT Infrastructure Disaster Recovery Services Environment and Program.Job DescriptionThis role requires working with the application development and operational teams and other stakeholders to create and maintain a strategy for disaster recovery, create operational and test plans, manage / coordinate the DR operational activities, and work closely with the Business Continuity teams to mitigate any effects on the ability to conduct business in the event of a disaster.
Manage and maintain detailed informational documentation supporting the overall DR plans, processes, and procedures
Review all existing plans to ensure they are complete, current, and all process steps are validated with the correct technical resources
Manage service providor relationships on delivering DR plans, performing required testing, and monitoring SLAs
Working with manage service providor and vendors to ensure the meeting of defined RPOs and RTOs
Tracking and escalating any noted SLA, RPO, or RTO issues
Coordinate with application and operational teams on the creation and maintenance of DR plans
Work closely with the corporate BC team to coordinate DR plans with overall BC requirements
Coordinate DR planning and training activities to all sites to included table top exercises and failover activities
Work with corporate BC to lead the recovery efforts during a BC or DR event
Manage operational service provider resources to effectively keep the DR environment \u0026 program running optimally.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in DPS; 10+ years preferred. Minimum of 5 years in project management and knowledge and/or certification in Project Management
Strong understanding of data protection suites / replication / sync technologies
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all levels of staff and an established history and track record of providing excellent customer service
Experience with all aspects of enterprise storage systems (NetApp, Isilon, XtremIO, VMAX, Nexsan, Avere)
Excellent Experience with VMware vSphere and with Microsoft Windows Server (installation and configuration)
Strong Experience with Oracle \u0026 Redhat Linux \u0026 HPUX and strong working knowledge of LAN, VLAN and WAN topologies
Experience with Oracle Database \u0026 MS SQL backups
Experience with F5 / BIGIP load / Citrix Netscaler load balancers / Global Traffic Management
Experience with Infoblox / DNS / Active Directory and experience with SSL Security Certificates
Experience in managing disaster recovery environment build projects
Experience with the following technologies:Windows Server, Oracle \u0026 Redhat Linux, VMware vSphere including SRM, MS SQL \u0026 Oracle database technologies, Storage replication, Software Defined Data Center \u0026 Storage, Network virtualization, Storage virtualization, Private Cloud integration with Public Cloud
Strong knowledge of capacity planning, storage, and general network best practices. Knowledge of infrastructure server hardware. Cisco UCS / HPE Servers / Nutanix Hyperconverged / Oracle Exadata
Excellent planning, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
