We are seeking qualified candidates for a Compensation Manager opening within our People & Culture team. This role will lead, coach and develop the global compensation team in an environment that is fast paced and evolving globally. Job Responsibilities
Lead the design and development global broad-based, sales and equity compensation programs that are centered around Viasat's compensation philosophy
Manage a global compensation team that supports all business areas through a proactive and consultative approach
Act as an advisor to the People & Culture leadership team and org leaders on compensation programs and strategies
Conduct market research to identify emerging compensation trends and monitor competitiveness of existing programs
Design and model cost implications for recommended changes to existing compensation strategies
Lead the efforts to evaluate and maintain a market competitive global job structure within Workday
Lead development and delivery of clear and consistent communications and trainings to key stakeholder groups
Lead the company's annual focal, bonus planning and equity planning cycles in Workday
Monitor and implement changes to ensure compliance with global pay regulations.
Lead the selection of and participation in salary surveys as well as research for additional sources of market data
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR or Finance or relevant field
Experience in the design and delivery of Compensation programs and processes
Prior experience with executive compensation and equity compensation preferred
Ability to inspire and lead a team in a fast paced and evolving environment
Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations
Prior Workday experience highly desired
Advanced Excel skills
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
