Responsible for the financial operations of four legal entities including the behavioral health hospital, physician group, multi-site opioid treatment program, and a large outpatient practice group.
Responsible for overall financial administration of the organization, including revenue cycle, general accounting, information systems and financial reporting in accordance with all hospital and corporate policies and procedures.
Ensures that internal controls are adequate to safeguard facility assets and that accounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timely financial reports.
Also responsible for preparation of the annual hospital budget along with ongoing analytics monitoring any variances and reporting to CEO and corporate office.
The successful candidate will have a willingness to be the financial leader of the organization which includes, but is not limited to -- responsibility for the on-site and off-site finance staff performance; preparation of certain journal entries and reviewing journal entries prepared by the financial staff; generating and reporting on financial performance; developing financial projections; account reconciliations; and meeting parent company deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field required. CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum five years previous healthcare experience in financial operations leadership.
Accounts receivable management experience in a central business office environment preferred.
Knowledge of inpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital finance preferred, but not required.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office professional applications and previous use of computer workstation.
