ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Promote a results oriented culture of teamwork, respect, excellence, integrity and accountability

  • Perform initial and ongoing design reviews

  • Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors

  • Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 


  • Experience in a machine shop environment·

  • A strong knowledge of aluminum and stainless steel precision machined parts

  • Motivated, takes initiative 

  • High standards 

  • Effective and well organized 

  • Professional in manner and appearance 

  • Good interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to “see the big picture” when meeting customer needs 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)

  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a practicing mechanical engineer

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
