ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior Clinical Operations Associate supports the Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) aspects of international clinical trials across multiple locations in partnership with Roche Pharmaceuticals. The Associate is responsible for trial components specific to CGP including study planning; identification and monitoring of critical path actives; triaging of issues related to cross-functional and cross-geographic transactions inclusive of sample receipt and analysis, data generation, data sharing, report generation and report dissemination. This position requires the ability to work across multiple functions, organizations and geographies with a high level of accountability, attention to detail and efficient problem-solving capabilities.
Support CGP specific study planning and execution to ensure optimization for success.
Liaise closely with all stakeholders to proactively pre-empt study obstacles.
Summarize risks, challenges, opportunities, recommendations, and the status of prospective, ongoing, and completed clinical operations initiatives to applicable stakeholders at periodic and set-interval meetings.
Engage in problem solving as needed related to sample receipt, accessioning, tracking, genomic analysis, report generation and dissemination.
Identify and mitigate against CGP specific study risks while escalating as necessary with appropriate recommendations for resolution.
Execute upon communication strategy action steps to build and maintain internal and external relationships that foster successful study planning and execution.
Maintain up-to-date databases pertaining to clinical trials.
Other duties pertinent to clinical operations as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in a life science
5 years of experience in the Healthcare, Diagnostic, or Biotechnology industry within a clinical setting
Graduate Degree in a life science
Demonstrated success in study planning and execution, navigating cross-functional teams, risk mitigation and problem resolution
Articulate and effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated history of successfully managing multiple concurrent initiatives and maintaining one's own workflow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Desire to improve the lives of people living with cancer
Demonstrated ability of meeting project deadlines
Understanding of HIPAA and importance of privacy of patient data
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
Excellent organization and attention to detail
