Lasko Products Inc., the nation's leading producer of home comfort products, has an immediate opening for a Senior Cost Analyst.

The role will analyze and report cost information to provide visibility into changes in operating costs and opportunities for cost reduction. This includes forecasting, reporting, cost analysis, setting inventory costs, supporting the month-end close process, and supporting the capital authorization request process. The role will participate in low cost provider initiatives and other projects as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop and improve processes and procedures that help build out a robust cost accounting and analysis function

Work with individuals throughout the organization in developing operating budgets.

Carry out the standard cost setting process and revaluation of inventory.

Analyze and report changes in operating costs at the Company's manufacturing and distribution facilities, both at facility and work center levels.

Create reports that allow the Operations team visibility into performance results. Support the audit and month end close process, prepare account reconciliations and audit schedules. Miscellaneous ad-hoc reporting as requested.

Job Requirements

Individuals must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and spreadsheet applications. 3-5 years experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
