Position Overview
This position is responsible to ensure that our transportation technology deployment projects are properly organized, successful, and rolled out. The Customer Project Manager will assist customers in creating a project plan, assist in organizing all individuals involved, create/facilitate a task/action list to hold all parties accountable, maintain dashboard, and measure success. Ultimately, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the needs of the customer are met within the scope of each project.


* Execute Professional Services Project Model

* Create Project Plan

* Develop Change Management Plan

* Create and maintain project charter, RACI, FMEA

* Maintain Open/Action Items List

* Complete weekly status reports as needed

* Communicate with all relevant stakeholders (clients, employees, management) proactively throughout the project, including communicating difficult, sensitive, or confidential information tactfully

* Facilitate meetings with a high level of organization to set agendas and expectations and summarize progress and tasks required with customers

* Identify and communicate project risks and roadblocks, with creative solutions to accomplish project and business objectives regardless of changing circumstances


* Ensure all parties have completed their tasks as described in the Project Management Plan

* Conduct learning sessions with customers on Trimble product features and usage

* Deliver presentations, remote and in person, to customers and internal stakeholders


* Other related tasks as assigned by management

* Position may require occasional evening or weekend hours, but primary workload involves standard business hours during the week (8-5).

Required Skills:

* Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in a technology, customer service or transportation related field

* 2 years of Project Management Experience

* Proficiency in Google Suite of products (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

* Knowledgeable in Microsoft product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Presentation experience to medium and small groups, both remote and in-person

* Ability to educate a variety of roles and parties involved in the project (IT, Operations, Users)

* Highly organized and demonstrated problem solving skills

* Attention to detail

* Strong relationship management skills, including working in a fast paced environment, interacting with senior
management and executives. * Facilitate meetings with a high level of organization

* Ability to manage total accountability for a customer specific project

* Experience with Project Management Software (MS Project, Liquidplanner, Smartsheet, etc.)

* Willing to travel up to 25% of time

Preferred Skills:

* Transportation industry experience

* Transportation system experience (TMS, Telematics)

* Project Management Certification

* Change Management Certification

* Smartsheet experience

* Certified Transportation Professional designation

* Knowledgeable on Trimble Transportation Products
