We are currently seeking a Research Assistant/Technical Assistant professional who is a strong, multi-faceted, technical assistance professional to join WRMA. The person hired for this position will contribute to a large project involving many tasks. This position is in WRMA's Rockville, Maryland office. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain company standards and goals.
Provide technical assistance to recipients of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) in reporting their required data reports to the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB). Operate a phone line and email inbox to answer questions regarding the reports, and to provide assistance and troubleshooting to users in navigating and using the online submission system. You will be responsible for ensuring HAB's reporting expectations are met, and in turn, articulating incoming questions and concerns to HAB as appropriate. You will also be responsible for day-to-day office activities such as tracking TA cases, generating reports, and coordinating with co-workers and other contractors to provide timely and complete support. In addition, you will contribute to the development of reporting manuals, webinars, other technical assistance resources, and other deliverables required by HAB. You will need to develop a nuanced understanding of the reporting requirements and the logistics of submitting each required report, and the capacity to provide high quality TA that meets the needs of the recipients in a changing health care environment.
Our successful candidate will have familiarity with HIV/AIDS, public health, or data. You must have a proficiency with computers and such programs as Microsoft Office and online modules. A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a social, behavioral, or health science. Experience providing technical assistance or customer service a plus, but not required.
