Job Description:

As an integral part of the Hearst Media Services marketing organization, the Senior Marketing Manager will develop creative and impactful marketing solutions that meet client objectives while driving digital revenue across the Hearst’s Young Women’s Group: Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, Seventeen and our latest YouTube acquisition, Clevver.  

• Ideate and develop custom solutions in response to digital RFPs, collaborating with Sales, Ad Product & Solutions, Branded Content Editors, Ad Operations, and Media Planning
• Bring digital solutions to life in a compelling pitch deck that strongly articulates the reason for and benefit of the proposed strategy
• Attend client meetings to present digital opportunities as needed
• Develop expertise at a category and client level and share knowledge and best practices across the larger marketing team
• Help develop and refine the overall go to market messaging and presentation for the Young Women’s business units
• Envision new ways for advertisers to connect with our consumers via ad product, data and content programs
• Participate in the creation of sales strategy against a client or relevant category, and create proactive opportunities 
• Facilitate turnover of sold digital program to Project Manager. Stay connected to sold programs throughout the execution phase to ensure quality of execution and program success
• Stay abreast of the marketplace competition and digital innovations in the millennial and gen z space 

• Is a creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for clients 
• Has superior written skills and is comfortable creating dynamic pitch decks 
• Has excellent verbal presentation skills and is comfortable interfacing with internal and external clients
• Thrives in a dynamic and fast paced, high volume environment 
• Has a strong familiarity with digital and social channels, both existing and emerging 
• Has strong prioritization and time management skills (can manage multiple deadlines and meeting requests across departments)
• Is resourceful, solution-focused and a multi-tasker
• Can successfully forge positive working relationships with internal Hearst stakeholders 
• Always seeks to act as a partner and resource for Sales Directors

• 4+ years Digital Media Marketing and Advertising experience and a Bachelor's Degree
• Proven experience solving advertiser objectives in a media, agency, publisher or content environment.
• Strong knowledge of digital sales and marketing dynamics and processes
• Proactive attitude; creative, entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong Powerpoint, Keynote and Excel skills required; InDesign and Photoshop a plus
• Knowledge of comScore, Adobe Analytics a plus
