Configuration Engineer, Sr. – TIBCO and/or RabbitMQ Platform Administrator - Owner

The Configuration Engineer, Sr. - TIBCO and/or RabbitMQ Platform Administrator-Owner position plays a key role in ownership of AIM’s integration platform.  This platform powers our ability to connect to clients and partners.  We are looking for a new member of our Integration Services team who, together with the team, will be responsible for analyzing, designing and administering the integration platform that will carry AIM forward into the future.

The primary duties for the Configuration Engineer, Sr. - TIBCO and/or RabbitMQ Platform Administrator-Owner role include, but are not limited to:


  • Coordination with UNIX, Networking, DBA, and Storage teams to fulfill pre-requisites for server builds

  • Management and maintenance of topology/architectural documentation

  • Administration of the newest versions of integration products such as: Tibco, Axway, and Rabbit MQ

  • Identify necessary updates to address security, performance and business continuity needs

  • Manage the installation and patching of integration related products and software

  • Create and configure integration objects like events, streams, queues, topics and users

  • Develop scripts to perform various clean-ups and automated operations on UNIX machines

Qualified Candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in related field plus 3+ years of experience in relevant integration technologies

3+ years of experience with UNIX shell scripting in a professional environment

3+ years of experience in information technologies, preferably within the health care industry

2+ years of experience administering the TIBCO suite (API Exchange and BW products)

2+ years of experience administering RabbitMQ suite (creation/configuration of exchanges, queues, bindings, etc.)

2+ years of experience with setting up and maintaining a meaningful monitoring, alerting and logging strategy within the TIBCO/RabbitMQ product suite

2+ years of experience of load testing the TIBCO/RabbitMQ suite

Experience with implementing and maintaining automated deployments within the TIBCO/RabbitMQ product suite

Full stack understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment CI/CD, deployment automated, containerization and current trends in Open Source Software
