Reporting to the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, you will ensure that the winery operates in accordance with federal and state regulations, industry codes and company policies. You will be responsible for the creation of reports for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) as well as other government agencies validating accuracy and compliance as well as performing other administrative functions as required.

What You Will Do

Research:


  • Are you a resource investigator?  You will be learning a lot about compliance, especially the liquor law and providing your stakeholders with advice. Like to work cross functionally?  You will be working with marketing and sales and will have an abundance of cross functional partners.

Compliance:


  • You will be responsible for reviewing and approving marketing materials for compliance with federal and state laws, and company standards as well as perform activities related to obtaining government approval for advertising materials that are covered by government regulations..

  • You will review proposed activities by regulatory agencies to determine potential impact on the organization and advise management on such issues.

Problem Solving:


  • You will identify potential non-compliance situations in advance and propose solutions


  • You will seek appropriate support and participate in the management and resolution of non-compliant situations

  • You will prepare and present reports to management that define/evaluate problems and uncover possible solutions

What You Need


  • High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of government compliance or regulatory clerk experience; OR Associates Degree in Business  administration, Finance/Accounting, Liberal Arts, Math or Science plus 1 year of government compliance or regulatory clerk experience; OR Bachelor’s degree
