Your day to day

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for building and executing talent identification strategies and directly sourcing, assessing and recommending the most highly qualified candidates for assigned positions.

  • Conduct effective intake sessions with hiring manager’s for assigned roles – listen actively, ask probing questions, and engage the hiring manager to understand the specific needs of the role.

  • Source passive candidates by utilizing a variety of search methods (i.e. internal database, social sites, employee and non-employee referrals, networking, internet searches, etc.).

  • Interview, assess and recommend the most highly qualified candidates for assigned positions.

  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative and effective sourcing plans.

  • Generate and maintain a high-quality pipeline of qualified candidates for critical, hard to fill roles.

  • Provide recommendations for most effective and cost-efficient search options, as appropriate.

  • Identify sources for diversity candidates – develop relationships with partner organizations to ensure a pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry and market trends.

  • Comply with the organization’s policies and practices relating to employment, maintain compliance with Department of Labor and related government agencies’ regulations and ensure that recruiting efforts are in compliance with EEO/AA plan.

  • Maintain a consistent, high quality customer-focused orientation.

  • Listen to and communicate with hiring manager’s and applicants to obtain all required information necessary to determine and address their specific needs.

What we need from you


  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.


  • 2 to 5 years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position. 

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local employment laws.

  • Excellent interviewing, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective analytical/assessment skills and strong consultative skills to advise and guide hiring managers/applicants.

  • Highly developed customer service skills.

  • A passion for identifying and evaluating candidates.

  • Strong PC skills (to include knowledge of MS Office software package)
