Act as an Alternative brand champion.
Greet customers and recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
Maintain sales records.
Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise, and describe merchandise and explain fabrication and care of merchandise to customers.
Receive, unpack, and ticket inventory.
Set store promotional signage as needed.
Merchandise and display product to promote sales.
Clean shelves, counters, and tables, and keep store tidy.
Bag or package purchases, and wrap gifts.
Help customers try on or fit merchandise.
Prior experience in retail, customer service or sales environment
Fashion industry experience and passion
Customer service orientation
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong initiative and high energy level
Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Computer savvy and comfortable with mobile technology
