As our Corporate Partnerships Sales Manager, you will drive both new business revenue and upselling opportunities with current clients. You will be motivated by your committed aim to meet and exceed personal revenue goals. As a top sales performer, you will build relationships within your diverse portfolio including NBA, esports, events, and entertainment properties.
You will be responsible for:
Achieving annual revenue goals by closing new business partners, upselling current business partners and renewal of existing partners.
Prospecting companies, organizations, associations and current sponsorships to establish dialogue in the discovery of potential partnership needs to ensure a mutually effective relationship.
Utilizing CRM based systems to coordinate and account for prospecting and building potential partnership deals.
Running a portfolio of current partnership accounts and developing credible and long-lasting relationships with those partners through consultative selling.
Leading pricing (rate card) of partnership assets and development of partnership packages.
Working collaboratively and effectively with all functional areas of business and with key partners in the organization.
Crafting and presenting to Director of Sales and prospective partners holistic solution based proposals and offerings that aligns with company initiatives and appropriately reflects the Trail Blazer brand.
Working closely with Partnership Marketing Managers to ensure clients receive outstanding service, activation plans and have complete fulfillment of contract details.
Achieving high efficiency and activity levels for new business development.
Performing other tasks as assigned.
You are qualified if:
You possess a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or a related field; or at least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
You have at least two years marketing experience (specifically brand, media, digital, advertising, promotions and/or event planning) or related field.
You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a related industry with an emphasis in Sports Marketing, Advertising and/or Partnerships preferred.
You have shown a history of success in partnership-related sales. You successfully build and articulate conceptual sales.
You are experienced in evolving activation and fan engagement assets into partnership packages.
You maintain current, reliable knowledge of our industry and marketplace.
You possess strong selling and presentation skills.
You are amazing at building and managing relationships.
You have a deep understanding of digital and social marketing.
