Provide Cisco Unified Communications technology expertise and associated technical support, evaluating and resolving complex technical issues related to the voice network.
Consult and work collaboratively with internal departments and vendors to deliver a quality call experience for our customers. Perform IP network analysis and monitoring to insure peak performance and quality of the voice traffic.
Senior team member responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of IP Telephony infrastructure and application components.
Ensuring overall technical capabilities, stability and performance with Cisco Call Manager. Provide direction, recommendations, design and implementation for VoIP enhancements.
Work with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on VoIP implementation, optimization, security and ongoing management. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting infrastructure and services including CUCM, CUC, CUIC, CUPS, CUBE, CER, CVP, IM&P, Finesse, Jabber and all other Unified Communications applications.
Ensure performance, capacity, availability, and quality of the voice environment monitoring for emerging incidents and initiate preventative action.
Create and maintain all necessary technical documentation. Ensure all work activity is accurately documented in our tracking systems.
Adhere to the design, programming and application standards as setup by the company. Including compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Provide functional direction and/or guidance to assist with development of team members.
Develop preventative maintenance programs, disaster recovery plans and redundancy plans. Maintain and test these plans regularly.
Cisco Call Manager version 10.5.2 experience is required.
Cisco Voice \ Collaboration certification is preferred (CCNA-Voice, CCNP-Voice)
BA/BS degree in technical discipline preferred
At least 5 years of Cisco Unified Communications troubleshooting, design and configuration experience
At least 5 years of experience with Cisco CUCM, Unity Connect, Cube, Contact Center Enterprise
Telecommunications configuration, design and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with server operating systems (Linux, Windows) and application software
Demonstrated knowledge of networking concepts and tools used for monitoring and troubleshooting
Knowledge of voice and data communication protocols (H.323, SIP, LDAP, RTP, QoS)
