The Underwriting Excellence team is comprised of 31 associates and includes Learning & Development, Knowledge Management, the Technical Team, Quality and Continuous Improvement, Underwriting Operations and the Strategy Team.
 
Job Responsibilities:  


  • Work closely with seasoned Underwriting professionals

  • Perform testing of reports for desired outcomes, demonstrate and release tools to target audiences

  • Mentor with leaders within our organization

  • Work independently and within group environments on department work & specific projects that will give them a clear understanding of the Underwriting process

  • Have a well-defined experience that could be used in future opportunities


  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2020 and May 2021.

  • Open to all majors: but not limited to majors of Finance, Math, Risk Management, Business, General Management, or Accounting

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required

  • Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.

  • Strong communication (both oral and written), leadership, technical and analytical skills.

  • Excellent work ethic and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking skills and have a comfort level dealing with numbers and analytics

  • Proficient in Microsoft WORD, Access, and PowerPoint

  • Possess excellent EXCEL skills
