NMC Material Handling is expanding its service offerings with a new line of aerial rental equipment and has an opportunity for a Rental Sales Representative today.  As our enterprise continues to grow, we invite individuals with a passion for machinery to join us for a conversation. As part of this market expansion, our Sales Representatives will:

  • Promote new rental service offerings to a regional customer base

  • Lead cross-selling initiatives for existing customer base and product lines

  • Increase rental utilization for a fleet of rental equipment

  • Develop new customers within the rental equipment space

  • Leverage our 80-year brand to promote some of the best brands in the machinery business

  • Passion to serve a loyal customer base with equipment solutions

  • Experience guiding customers through a decision making process

  • Desire and know-how to develop a sales territory with integrity


  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services

  • Promotes company’s products and related services by establishing, nurturing and maintaining relationships with current customers and prospective customers in an assigned territory

  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers

  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential

  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers

  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups

  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization

  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment

  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
