Job Description:


  • Medicaid Rebate Analyst will manage the day-to-day administration and processing of invoices associated with the State Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP); all associated reporting requirements for Medicaid pricing (monthly/quarterly AMP and Units) in the Medicaid DDR system and actively participate in the dispute resolution process with the State Medicaid Agencies.

Essential Functions:

  • Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP)/CMS

  • Ensure compliance with all Centers of Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) legislated pricing and reporting requirements

  • Coordinate receipt, validation and processing of Medicaid state rebate claims.

  • Coordinate and ensure timely disbursements of Medicaid state rebates to state Medicaid agencies.

  • Recognize known disputes with Amneal products and negotiate resolution with state Medicaid agencies.

  • Provide support in the data entry of monthly/quarterly AMP pricing within the CMS DDR system.

  • Support the development and maintenance of policies and standard operating procedures to ensure compliant operations.

  • Participate in internal and external audits, when needed, in order to demonstrate compliance with policies, laws and regulations.

  • High School or GED - Required

  • Associate Degree - Preferred


  • Medicaid or Rebates experience OR a minimum of Associate’s degree and 1 year relevant experience


  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or governmental regulations. - Intermediate

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. - Intermediate

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers. - Advanced

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rebates, admin fee, discounts, percentages and volume. - Intermediate

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative & problem solving skills. - Advanced

  • Ability to implement systems as needed, including upgrades according to regulations. - Intermediate

  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage payment processes - Advanced

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

  • Solid concept of algebraic and financial formulas

  • Knowledge of Medicaid Processing systems such as CARS Medicaid and/or Model N
