Lincare's HR Business Partner provides Employee Relations support to the field and Corporate HR by performing the following duties:

* Attends work on a regular and predictable basis

* Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues

* Responds to inquiries from employees/managers regarding policies, procedures, and programs

* Prepares corrective action documents, employee separation notices, and related documentation after reviewing circumstances and advising management of potential risks - as applicable

* Investigates internal complaints of harassment/discrimination and other employment-related issues

* Assists Corporate Benefits in the administration of FMLA and ADA

* Responds to complaints from federal/state/local agencies related to workplace harassment/discrimination

* Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance

* Participates in management training for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, and harassment/discrimination as needed/requested

* Represents organization at employment-related hearings and investigations

* Bachelor Degree in business-related field

* Minimum five (5) years of experience in Human Resources with emphasis in Employee Relations

* Work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement

* Computer proficiency required

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel required

* Working knowledge of PowerPoint and any HRIS system a plus


* PHR/SPRH or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as talk or hear. Frequent and repetitive keyboarding is required. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and/or reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Some travel required, but typically does not exceed 25%.
