Job Description:

Are you looking to start an exciting career in engineering? UPS Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an Industrial Engineering (IE) Management Trainee to impact the organization by working with the Engineering and Operations Management teams to develop, implement and deploy approved operational processes and best practices consistently throughout the company.

 Responsibilities and Duties

  • Reviews and updates documented operating procedures to ensure they align with approved procedures
  • Evaluates operational methods and processes to identify cost-reduction opportunities
  • Communicates and implements improvement opportunities
  • Assists operations with procedural inquires related to WMS functionality, improvement initiatives and operations support tools
  • Manages website for Field Stocking Locations (FSL) support tools
  • Represents FSL Operations/Industrial Engineer for all Business Continuity-related issues

Knowledge and Skills

  • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently
  • Proficient in Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience with warehouse and inventory management software
  • Experience in warehouse operations, specifically Service Parts Logistics
  • Some travel may be required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field - Preferred
