JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
Work collaboratively to identify, design and implement improvements to achieve strategic objectives and help create systems, routines & behaviors for a culture of daily improvement.
Reports to : Continuous Improvement Leader
May work under the direction of : Production Manager or Area Supervisor (when acting as a production operator for the purpose of process analysis/development/training/learning). May also partner with Engineering personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as Technical Resource for Solution Design & Implementation
Work directly with Operators to understand current practices
Operate equipment & run production processes to help identify risks/opportunities
Solicit input from production operators
Help conceptualize/design/build solutions
Research & connect with vendors for solution needs
Help establish "best operating practices"
Write /Submit GPCs, NCMRs, and Waivers
Audit / Author Work Instructions (SOPs) and Route Cards (SAP)
Train team members on new / updated processes
Utilize CAD to draft layouts and product design for Inside Sales
Build Improvement Culture
Integrate Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing into daily activities
Practice Toyota Kata routines - Be a learner & a coach
