Leads the thoughtful analysis, development, and implementation of business requirements, working with key internal and external stakeholders globally to ensure thoughtful design, administration, and consistent implementation of Meetings and Events GEMS integrated systems and their in-depth processes, providing guidance and training universally. Manages complex reporting analysis projects, simultaneously communicating insights and deploying methodologies for effective and efficient project execution. Collaborates with Leadership, Finance, and Compliance groups to manage the strategic reporting for the on-going analysis of aggregate spend reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads and manages requirements gathering and analysis activities by working with key stakeholders, including but not limited to, developers, system analysts, designers, and internal/external customers.
Elicits, captures, analyzes, refines, articulates and documents business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and documentation via appropriate processes.
Manages requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Manages systems processes (Cvent, Salesforce), providing support through problem solving ticket system, ensures that all the separate elements of the system are working together properly. Plans appropriate system needs for global users, performing programming as needed.
Manages the training of global employee system users. Maintains user access and administers and develops trainings and appropriate training materials for continuous global learning.
Responsible for the oversight of spend transactions related to meetings and labs, utilizing SMM software American Express reporting tools (Concur, GERS, CAR), CTS, and other internal systems.
Manages operations to ensure the appropriate submission of required information for state, federal and ad-hoc disclosure reports. Collaborates with GIS, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure integrity and accuracy.
Conducts routine monitoring of transparency and disclosure activities, including, but not limited to, any spend alerts, fee caps and other required data analysis.
Develops and enhances collaborative relationships across internal users and business clients.
Effectively implements auditing and monitoring plans related to transparency, data security and disclosure of meeting spend.
Manages projects as assigned associated with analysis, reporting, and monitoring with considerable autonomy. Collaborates and manages key relationships with respective Finance departments as appropriate in regards to aggregate spend trending and reporting.
Manages and write policies, procedures and processes related to GEMS and Meetings & Events.
Works closely with Compliance and Accounting departments providing key analysis and insights with regard to meeting spend related to Healthcare Professionals for state and federal reporting systems.
Works with Meeting Specialists and Leadership teams to provide assistance for their use of meeting management reporting tools and provides critical thinking solutions for processes.
Manages the implementation of meeting spend processes and reconciliations related to Concur meeting procurement cards.
Works closely with Meeting & Event team members to train on efficient budget entry, reporting and data integrity.
Partners with internal/external customers and provides exceptional customer service as it relates to meetings reporting information.
10% travel required for occasional training, meetings or trade shows.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or IT related field.
3 years’ experience required working in a business, finance, accounting or IT environment.
Experience with computer software programs and web design (HTML and CSS) preferred.
Experience with Salesforce, Cvent applications, and system integration and configuration is a plus.
Experience in the medical device industry or FDA-regulated environment is a plus.
Project management experience highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Knowledge and understanding of marketing, meeting, and event processes.
Ability to manage scope and understand project management concepts.
Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments concurrently. Strong business analytical skills with the ability to produce clearly articulated requirements and documents.
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with staff, colleagues, management and internal/external customers.
Experience with various reporting formats and government reporting formats including demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the requirements for effective compliance programs as set forth in the U.S. Guidelines.
Ability to extract, interpret, and communicate insights from integreated integrated systems.
Aptitude to manage multiple projects and priorities, tasks and coordinate various channels of communication at the same time.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and Cvent applications and demonstrated ability to manage these systems along with integration responsibilities with Creekside (Arthrex.com, SAP, CTS, LabTrac, etc.).
Ability to facilitate and conduct meetings while asking questions and soliciting feedback, presenting and capturing notes/requirements in various software applications/tools
