Job Description:
<p><strong>Production Support 2 days / Quality Tech Saturday &amp; Sunday</strong></p><p>The Rehrig Pacific family celebrates our people and empowers them to create innovative solutions that effectively and responsibly move goods, resources and ideas.&nbsp; We foster an atmosphere of learning and creativity which promotes the personal and professional growth of our team members.&nbsp; Our commitment to each other is what sets us apart from other organizations.&nbsp; At Rehrig Pacific, you will have a chance to make an immediate, meaningful impact on the business.</p><p>Quality Duties:</p><ul><li>Complete First Part Approvals (FPA's) on every order to ensure work order accuracy against production.</li><li>Measure and document part specifications several times a shift.<br>Alert Quality Manager of any deviations in part quality and place suspect product in need of rework on hold.<br>Validate the functionality of various components received from suppliers.<br>Confirm cycle efficiencies against process change documentation.<br>Work with Processing, Tooling, Production, and Engineering on quality issues that arise until product is back to standard quality.<br>Approve product in warehouse is ready to ship.<br>Contribute to team effort by leading in-house product rework and 5s initiatives.<br>Advocate safety and safety projects throughout the plant.<br>Work with Quality Manager on quality improvement projects.<br>Communicate with other Quality Assurance Tech between shift changes on recent quality issues and wins.<br>Allocate time towards self-improvement through training and team meetings.</li></ul><p>Production Duties:</p><ul><li>Operate machines and support the production team as needed</li><li>Help production team relive for breaks and lunches </li><li>Provide support during any rework situations&nbsp;</li></ul><p></p><p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Be able to prioritize daily responsibilities, communicate well with production on quality issues and improvements, exhibit&nbsp;high attention to detail, injection molding experience is a plus. High School<br>education or GED preferred.
