The Maintenance Technicians are responsible for equipment maintenance and repair, and installation of automated and self-serve car wash equipment, and for keeping related records. This position offers consistent work schedules and a rotating weekend on-call schedule. Travel is required, but rarely overnight.
Execute responsibilities with minimal supervision
Use Company provided tools
Recommend changes in systems, programs and equipment to improve reliability, increase capability, and/or reduce costs.
Troubleshoot car wash equipment-related chemical, mechanical, electromechanical, electronic equipment, and PLC controllers,
Diagnose and repair car wash equipment malfunctions.
Perform periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment.
Modify or update equipment when required.
Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner.
Counsel clients relating the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
Coordinate and keep abreast of new developments and innovations leading to improved departmental and company performance.
Accurately receive and convey technical information
Assist with training site managers on mechanical aspects of operating a car wash as needed.
1-2 years of trade school or equivalent in-field technical experience
Understanding of low voltage control circuits and three-phase power preferred
Must have a valid Driver License in good standing (minimal violations on MVR)
General computer skills
Strong communication skills
Must be able to lift and push/pull heavy items
Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, stand and walk for duration of shift
