Job Description:

This Commissions Reporting Analyst is responsible for creating and providing key reporting and analysis over all commissions that will assist Corporate Compensation and Sales Channel leadership in making decisions for sales growth and performance. Position will partner with Corporate Compensation team to ensure all data used for commission calculations in the commission tool are implemented accurately and according to approved commission plans. This position will also be responsible for assembling and recurring reporting for Finance, Accounting, and Business Planning for proper accrual management and expense forecasting exercises.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor accuracy and responsiveness of commission systems and payments through accurate validation reporting and distribution.

Support management through proper trending of key KPI reporting to analyze commission expense payment month over month variances.

Responsible for developing and providing sales leaders, finance, HR and any other departments recurring and various financial reporting/analysis related to commissions and/or on an ad-hoc basis

Create commission summary reports and other reports to analyze trends and performance

Research commission variances as requested by management or commissioned employees

Track and ensure system defects and enhancements are implemented as planned

Analyze commission operations data to provide insight to decision-makers

Identify and interpret trends and patterns in data and present findings to management

Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements

Perform other analysis and special projects as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret and effectively communicate results and present to various members of management
Proven team player, partnership, troubleshooter, and result oriented
Multi-tasked oriented; capable of working in fast paced and changing environment
Ability to maintain pressure and adapt to changing priorities, develop alternative solutions, and work in a team environment

Excellent computer skills including experience in building excel spreadsheets
Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience with ICOMS, CSG and/or SalesForce preferred

Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
Valid driver s license and good driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of telecommunications products and services
Knowledge of financial accounting principles and procedures (including Sarbanes-Oxley)
Knowledge of accounting, finance and budgeting tools, procedures and software

Related Work Experience Number of Years
Telecommunications Industry background preferred
Sales Performance Management application experience preferred 1-3
