Job Summary

The Full Stack developer is responsible for transforming the design and the product vision into working product. The work directly influences how users will interact with the system. This developer will stay on top of fast changing technology and invest a great amount of energy in learning new tricks. He/she is up to speed on industry trends in client development frameworks and also knows what the near future will bring. The developer loves clean interfaces and has a passion for great user experiences. Great front-end developer will also have basic understanding of backend programming and will be willing to learn more to help backend developers write APIs that will help deliver a great product. Job Requirements

Past experience as a front-end developer building modern JavaScript-based web applications

Excellent working knowledge of HTML/ CSS, and a modern frontend Javascript framework, such as ReactJS, AngularJS, EmberJS, Vue.js

Excellent programming skills in at least 2 modern programming languages/ frameworks, such as Node.JS, Go Lang, Elixir, Ruby on Rails, Python, etc.

Knowledge of SQL and one common database technology, such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB, HBase, Neo4J

Understanding of RESTful APIs and have use them in practice

Knowledge of Object-Oriented programing

Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies

Experience as a developer on an agile team preferred

Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging/disruptive technologies

Open to learning new ideas outside scope or knowledge skillset

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree; or 3 years and a Master s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent combination of applicable education/certifications/training and related professional work experience.
