About the role

As a Customer Service Rep, you ensure that our customers have a delightful, frictionless experience, via phone, chat, and email. You serve as a trained product expert, responsible for providing product information on the homebuilding supplies in our online catalog and providing technical support for end-users. Understanding our internal processes to get our customers satisfied quickly and easily, you are adept at messaging and making the customer feel like royalty.

You Will

  • Answer 50+ daily customer inquiries through avenues including live online chat, email, and phone.

  • Identify high potential trade professionals and connect them with one of our Account Executives.

  • Sell additional services by recognizing up-sell opportunities and explaining relevant product features.

  • Keep customer database up-to-date by writing detailed call and order notes.

  • Proactively reach out to customers if any order issues arise, keeping them up-to-date and informed.

  • Be trained in the latest product information available by industry experts.

  • Participate in monthly sales/customer service competitions and team meetings.

  • Consistently deliver remarkable customer service, with 3+ five-star reviews per month.

  • Ensure the success of those around you by sharing your knowledge and offering help.

  • Maintain our online reputation by resolving customer complaints effectively, using all available resources.

  • Report any system issues to the appropriate team for a quick resolution.

  • Be friendly and professional at all times.

You Have

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Rock solid organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Hustle, grit, and an ability to adapt.

  • It would be awesome if you also have:

    • Experience working with plumbing and lighting supplies.

    • A history of success in the service or retail industries.
