In this role you will have the opportunity to join our growing State and Local Tax (SALT) group working with state and local taxes, including sales/use, B&O, and other Washington excise taxes, audit defense and administrative appeal representation. You will get experience delivering state and local tax advisory services, including refund reviews, nexus studies, taxability matrices, voluntary disclosures, tax minimization studies, and assisting with business development opportunities.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with passionate colleagues to plan, supervise, and execute holistic approaches to complex individual and commercial tax issues. Education: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or related field or a combination of education and directly related work experience. Masters Degree in Taxation or JD desirable.
Experience: 3-5 years' prior experience in state and local tax in public accounting, industry, or Department of Revenue required.
