SUMMARY: This role will participate in a technical skill and equipment training program designed to prepare individuals with no prior maintenance experience for an entry level Maintenance Technician position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Learn and become proficient in completion of work orders via electronic maintenance management systems. • Learn and become proficient in repairing or replacing defective parts o Replace a worn or defective part with a OE or comparable o Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements • Learn and become proficient in moving special functional and structural parts in devices and equipment. Examples: o Printer set up on a Filler, when needed o Vacuum Chamber for testing cups • Learn and become proficient in troubleshooting, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities. • Learn and become proficient in disassembly, fabrication, assembly and installation of equipment as required. • Learn and become proficient in safely and effectively utilizing hand, power and precision tools. • Learn and operate equipment in all business units. • Trainees are responsible for performance of work within reasonable time limits and in accordance with established procedures, regulations, safe practices, and all applicable codes. • Must be able to take initiative and work independently. Has ability to plan and organize own work. • Ability to grasp complex issues and apply good problem solving skills to develop recommendations/solutions. • Build positive working relationships with co-workers. • Must be able to work overtime, some shift work, holidays, and on-call. • Must have strong oral and written communication and team skills. • NOTE: This position will work on 1st shift during the course of the training program and will likely be awarded 2nd shift, 3rd shift or weekend opportunity upon successful completion of the program. Trainees may be asked to temporarily backfill an Operator or key Operations role that they have been trained on based on business need. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and previous work experience in a manufacturing environment. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with, maintenance staff and other employees MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions. Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams, computer scanning devices, adjustable measuring instruments. Check reports, forms, records and comparable data, where interpretation requires basic skills knowledge. REASONING ABILITY: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Safety and GMP certified. Valid driver's license
