We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of International Inside Sales and Logistics Specialist. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to coordinate all aspects of transportation, inventory management and delivery of finished goods to our international customer base. Additionally, the role will have responsibilities for tracking and analyzing customer order history, gathering market intelligence from our existing customer base, and finding ways to improve the group’s customer service. 

This role will require strong organizational skills and attention to detail as it directly and indirectly encompasses export shipments and documentation with the various government entities and order management systems. The best candidate(s) will need to possess a high degree of drive, motivation, and articulation in their written and verbal communication skills. This is a multi-faceted role that supports an international business group that has an aggressive growth plan. This role will have the opportunity to collaborate with different capabilities within the Gypsum division.

 


 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Receive, prioritize and process customer orders

  • Coordinate production with production schedulers and manufacturing plants

  • Schedule vessel bookings with Freight Forwarder and loading facility

  • Manage the inventory and inbound/outbound flow of goods at export warehouse facilities to fill customer orders quickly and efficiently

  • Resolve order issues while providing excellent customer service

  • Manage relationship with key vendors emphasizing clear communication and expectations

  • Create and manage export documentation for all international orders

  • Ensure that export documentation is compliant with the relevant regulations

  • Audit and approve payments for vendor invoices


  • Collaborate with Credit Group and Accounting to set up new customers  

  • Seek and apply innovative opportunities to improve service to the customer through supply chain, order process, or technology improvements

  • Develop relationships with customer base to discover and satisfy customer needs, as well as identify growth opportunities


  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to determine/adjust customer pricing

  • Manage some aspects of lead and demand generation by leveraging project data bases and relationships with existing customers

  • Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze customer performance for Sales Managers


 

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

 


  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Bilingual Spanish / English with a high level of fluency and the ability to read, write, and speak

  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence)

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing or another business-related field of study



  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce®
