Job Description:

As a member of the Business Analytics group, this position has responsibility for supporting information and data needs of Chubb Small Commercial Insurance. This position provides the individual with an opportunity to assume a key position in the Management reporting team within SCI Business Analytics Group, gain visibility by working on data initiatives, expand technical skills in information analysis, and collaborate with I/T and business professionals. To provide optimal service, the individual must be able to understand the nature of the request and its importance to the user in order to respond with the right information in the most efficient manner.


• Design, develop and maintain management reports
• Translate business needs to data and analytics requirements
• Recommend data/report solutions that support business needs
• Identify, capture, profile and report on data from multiple sources
• Fulfil Ad-hoc report requests from business users


• 3+ years’ experience in reporting/data analysis role
• Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL
• Knowledge of relational databases, data structures & relationships
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Qlikview, Cognos etc…
• Understanding of BI/DW concepts such as dimensional modeling, DBMS, ETL, datamarts etc..

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to successfully execute in a demanding, fast paced environment that will require flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work product
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to deadlines

Education: College degree in computer science or similar concentration. A strong analytical and technical background is preferred.

Prior experience in Property & Casualty insurance is a plus.
