The Talent Management Consultant plays a meaningful role in leading, building, and handling a broad range of talent management infrastructure, programs and initiatives. Serving as an internal consultant to the business and HR leaders, the TM Consultant works across geographies and lines of business to assess organizational needs, identify root cause issues and design solutions. As a member of the Global Talent Strategy team, you will work across a combination of disciplines such as talent framework (infrastructure), workforce planning, performance management, talent review, succession planning, career pathing and employee engagement. Ultimately this role is responsible for designing, developing and continuous improvement of talent management processes and practices, and collaborating with the business to leverage the full potential of existing talent by driving employee engagement and establishing a pipeline of future talent.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Apply in-depth expertise and thought leadership across a broad spectrum of talent management disciplines to drive business success

  • Collaborate with HR business partners to address talent issues by assessing the issue and crafting, developing and executing appropriate processes and programs at an enterprise level

  • Model change leadership for others. Ensure a strong change management approach to drive adoption and success of all initiatives

  • Identify and utilize key metrics to understand the effectiveness and business impact of programs, solutions and tools and ensure continuous improvement

  • Lead the creation, adoption and administration of talent management tools

  • Contribute to the development of the overall corporate talent strategy

  • Assist with the refinement of a basic talent infrastructure that will enable the assessment of talent gaps to drive workforce planning and will clarify career pathing

  • Ensure sound project management is applied to all projects, delivering company wide, large scale, complex projects on–time, within budget and with agreed upon effectiveness

  • Manage partnerships with external consulting resources in delivering organizational development services. Hold vendors accountable for high quality, cost-effective solutions

  • Work in close partnership with the Learning and Organizational Development team to ensure an integrated approach to development, learning and talent management

  • Bring external best practices in-house and shares internal standard methodologies across organization

What makes you a great fit for this role?

  • 5+ years of experience consulting in Organizational Development, Talent Management, or Talent Development. HR Business Partner experience is a plus

  • BS or BA Degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related field

  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide, large scale, organizational development initiatives.

  • Experience leading and supporting change management projects

  • Strong computer literacy, with knowledge of talent management technology

  • Excellent group facilitation and training skills

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, changing and matrixed environment

  • Organized, self-motivated, and delivers on commitments

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong collaborator, able to influence and build support

  • Proven customer service orientation

  • Ability to operate independently with low supervision

What makes you a phenomenal fit?

  • Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Effectiveness, Human Resources Development or related field of study

  • HR Business Partner experience in combination with Talent Management experience

  • Certification in assessment tools/360

  • International business experience
