Job Description:


The Business Process Manager, Banking, will manage the Banking unit of the national client support servicing team. Oversee the successful initiation and execution of directed client account servicing activity as requested by relationship management teams within appropriate time frames. This includes the oversight of account onboarding, wire/ACH processing and fund transfers, bill payment, maintenance of accurate and complete account records, imaging of documents, and researching of client issues.

•Maintain frequent communication with Partners regarding required activities within appropriate time frames (within stated service level agreement) and in a professional manner
•Identify and oversee NCSS team efforts to coordinate with operations and other support for accurate completion of all banking client service related assignments.
•Resolve challenging scenarios avoiding any variance from NT Policy or Procedure maintaining service excellence. Identify new opportunities to operationally and administratively enhance the client servicing experience.
•Ensure all NCSS staff provide accurate and timely responses to partner inquiries with consistent follow through.
•Review and analyze metrics to measure and manage CSS team activities including but not limited to productivity, resourcing and the engagement of the front office teams with CSS. Hold regular meetings for idea sharing and process changes and improvements.
•Oversee the NCSS team's audit and reporting requirements to ensure business unit follows audit standards in accordance with banking, policy and procedure guidelines.
•Identify and drive efforts to have team contribute in a constructive and positive manner toward NCSS goals.
•Implement roles and responsibilities, service standards and a culture of service and accountability necessary to ensure NCSS performs at an optimal level.
•Lead in a constructive and positive manner using the "A Approach" principles to meet individual performance goals and CSS team goals. Participate with peers Nationally to establish and maintain best practices.
•Promote National Client Support Service initiatives and lead partners to work collaboratively within the team advocating a culture of service, integrity and accountability.
•Maintain strong knowledge of all systems and applications required to efficiently and flawlessly execute banking related activities; ensure all NCSS team members are developing a strong proficiency as well.
•Identify and oversee opportunities to expand CSS team's knowledge of the latest enhancements to Northern Trust partner and client technology and systems in order to maintain highest standards of administrative and operational efficiencies.
•Conducts performance management and career development processes

•A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
•Highly flexible and adaptable to change
•Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set.
