Inside Sales – Valve and Automation

Wolseley Industrial Group – LaPorte, Texas

Wolseley Industrial Group is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Inside Sales – Valve and Automation position in our LaPorte, Texas location servicing the Texas and New Mexico areas. If you are a detailed oriented person, with knowledge of Valve and Automation, willing to provide great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities


  • Review technical V&A data sheets

  • Properly size and recommend Valve Automation based on customer needs

  • Understand and trouble shoot customer issues

  • Assemble quotes for day to day Valve and Automation packages

  • Build vendor relationships

  • Build customer relationships

  • Review valve and automation specifications.

Qualifications


  • 3 to 5 years Product Knowledge - Valve and Automation

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

  • Product and vendor knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Problem solving, listening, and leadership skills

  • Be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere.

  • Positive attitude

  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Service minded with a strong sense of urgency
