The Hospital will pay a referral bonus of $2,500 to any RN who refers an experienced RN (defined as an RN with a minimum of one year acute care experience) to a full time position. The referring RN AND the referred RN must be employed by the Hospital twelve (12) months from the hire date of the referred RN.
The Meal Relief Registered Nurse servicing the Telemetry and Step- Down units, as a professional practitioner, assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care while he/she is relieving other licensed nurses during break/meal periods. According to the established standards of nursing practice and standards of care, he/she demonstrates an ability to make clinical nursing judgement in an efficient and effective manner. Demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to the standards of the profession. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of skilled, high quality patient care for assisting in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing practice and collaborating with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Valid California RN license.
* Current BCLS certification.
* ACLS within 6 months of hire
* National RN Certification preferred.
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
* Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience preferred.
* Computer knowledge
* Competencies are reflected by valid California RN license and are validated during preceptor/orientation process.
