DESCRIPTION SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, Day Shift

MEDICAL CITY DENTON, a Magnet facility, is a 208 bed, full service hospital that serves the growing population of Denton, Wise, Cooke and Montague Counties. The RN NEURO INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY assists with all diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Neuro suite as monitor or circulator, provides individual nursing care, administers medication, starts IV's, operates equipment as needed, prepares patients for examination, documents appropriate information, interacts with patients and physicians, assists with orientation/education of all new Neuro interventional employees, assists with maintenance of staff competency checks and scheduling of in-services, assists with performance improvement, performs related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

* RN license in Texas or compact license

* 2 years of Neuro experience preferred

* Associates degree in Nursing required

* BSN degree preferred - must enroll within 6 months of hire and complete within 36 months

* BLS and ACLS required
