The TCS department works with our Development, Commercial and Sales teams to identify and deliver adhesive solutions and associated processes to our customers. The Senior TCS Technician provides Engineering applications support spanning from product development to post-product commercialization support (field support). He may provide on-site support to customers and participate to call conferences to review progress with the customers.
Conducts all R&D laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc.
Employs basic problem-solving skillsets to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates.
Collects, organizes, communicates data in a coherent format.
Trains other Technicians on equipment operation and/or test procedures.
May take on equipment ownership and responsible for maintaining safe operation of the assigned equipment
Associate's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields is preferred.
Ability to perform routine tests and operate application equipment safely and efficiently.
Ability to design /carry out simple, small-scale experiments and large scale builds mimicking customer processes
Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data.
Expected to interact with customers via email and /or tele-cons.
Familiar with products associated with assigned technology team/market/region
Able to work as a team member and independently on multi-task assignments.
Knowledgeable in Power Point, Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, Microsoft Project and Statistical Analysis Software is preferred.
