Job Summary

 

Under limited direction and supervision, performs necessary duties to ensure the total quality of all manufactured products and those of ACPA, NPCA, PCI and UDOT.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 


  • Complete the daily quality control inspection logs

  • Oversee that product reinforcing and other items are produced according to the product structural drawings

  • Check and enter mix design daily

  • Check and enter specifications of all concrete products according to ASTM and ACI

  • Serve as field representative at job sites to assist in the correction of problems and keeps all field visits documented along with the person that was responsible for producing the product

  • Keep assigned work area neat and clean

  • Reports directly to the Engineering Manager

  • Look for ways to improve product quality

  • Enforce product quality with the Production Team

  • Other duties as required

     

Skills / Experience/ Requirements

 


  • PCI level 1 Certification

  • PQS (NPCA) Certification

  • Applicable local, state, and Department of Transportation certifications;

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing of concrete products

  • Ability to read and understand blue prints/shop drawings and communicates with other individuals about them

  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs

  • Understands and completes technical reports and forms

  • Can conduct proper pre/post pour inspections to all product prior, during, and after fabrication to ensure proper construction

  • Understands company and required Quality Control programs and manuals
