Job Description

The Technical Product Manager – Software will be based in Fremont, CA. This position will work with product marketing team, or interface with customer identify product features, technical spec and requirements for advanced control, and software product, and drive product development tasks and design cycle to meet NX market and business needs.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:


  • Part of NEXTracker Power system team, interface with marketing team define product requirements and technical spec, plan product life cycle.

  • Work with engineering team plan and facilitate the prioritization of milestones and releases. Generate roadmaps and track execution through metrics.

  • Run communications and meetings for each iteration: pre-planning, planning, standups, demos, and reviews.

  • Manage product NPI, deployment.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):


  • Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree

  • 5+ years of experience for technical product management

  • Demonstrated technical skills in product management

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate professionally verbally, in writing and with presentations

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:


  • Deep understanding of solar power plant communication and software value chain

  • Familiarity with solar and energy storage applications

  • Prior experience using tools to automate planning/tracking processes and constantly improve efficiency for Engineering teams

  • Prior product management experience with energy applications.

  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
