Prudential’s Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Head of Early Talent Acquisition to set the strategy for building a pipeline of future leaders for the organization and lead a team of recruiters, strategy and operations professionals responsible for bringing top, diverse early talent into the firm. You will lead enterprise initiatives, build internal and external relationships and deliver innovative recruiting solutions to enhance candidate experience and optimize operations.

As the ideal candidate you have experience in leading teams, influencing stakeholders, building strategies and executing flawlessly. HR experience with and knowledge of campus recruiting leading practices, processes and technologies a plus.

This position will report into the Head of Talent Acquisition and is located in our Newark, NJ office.


  • As part of Talent Acquisition leadership team, advocate for early career recruiting strategies and provide input on cross Talent Acquisition matters including people, process and technology

  • Set strategy, budget, operations and lead team responsible for undergraduate and graduate degree recruiting and summer internship, externship and diversity programming

  • Advise business leaders and HR partners on optimal use of early talent pipeline, forming and overseeing enterprise early talent governance council

  • Build internal and external partnerships to ensure a diverse source of early talent across university partners, service providers and diversity organizations.

  • Leverage data and analytics to proactively evaluate effectiveness of sourcing channels, employer brand campaigns and engagement mechanisms and evaluate overall recruitment performance

  • Stay current with advancements of technology, platforms and vendors supporting the build of early talent pipelines


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Talent Acquisition experience with and knowledge of campus recruiting leading practices, processes and technologies

  • Minimum of 8 years professional work experience building strategies and delivering initiatives and implementations

  • At least 3 years of managerial experience with demonstrated success in leading teams, talent management and development and coaching

  • Strong consulting and project management skills with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify gaps, clearly articulate what needs to be done, and mobilize others in the right direction

  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills with the ability to think through problems and recommend solutions while understanding downstream impacts

  • The ability to build strong and influential relationships across all levels of an organization with a results-driven approach

  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills

  • A continuous learner with demonstrated successes in staying agile and comfortable navigating through complexity
