As we look to redefine expectations in cancer care, we need experienced, entrepreneurial-minded leaders to help us on this journey.  Are you an experienced oncology marketer looking to be part of an innovative, dynamic and growing organization?  GSK’s US Oncology team is looking for a Sr. Director of Marketing, to lead our Belantamab Mafadotin brand team.   As the Sr. Director of Marketing, Belantamab Mafadotin, you will oversee our critical launch asset setting the foundation of GSK’s re-entry into Oncology.  In this role you will be responsible for delivering this game changer scientific innovation from our scientists to our customers.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…

  • Oversee the US launch of Belantamab Mafadotin in r/r Multiple Myeloma.

  • Direct development of all healthcare provider and consumer promotional campaigns and tactics. 

  • Provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (Global, Medical Affairs, Insights etc.) and agency/vendor partners to identify and implement market analyses, competitive benchmarking, and other key analyses to inform decisions.

  • Ensure deep insights on the Multiple Myeloma market and determination of key strategies to support the business.

  • After launch, work with in close partnership field-based teams to gather insights and apply to future strategies

  • Develop and monitor lead and lag metrics for measuring product performance

  • Manage and deploy financial resources across the team. 

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ years in bio-pharmaceutical Industry, including experience in Global and US Marketing

  • 5-7 years of experience in Oncology

  • Prior experience leading an launch in the US market

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Master’s degree/MBA

  • Hematology experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, matrix assignments to achieve business objectives

  • Strong business acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior commercial leadership and confidently defend informed recommendations

  • Strong verbal and written communication/ presentation skills 

  • Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and influence without formal authority

  • Ability to lead through change and inspire agility/flexibility amongst team
