This person will be responsible for designing and implementing storage virtualization components within the data path. The ideal candidate should have prior experience building successful storage virtualization products, a solid understanding of object oriented development and C++, and a passion for thriving in a fast paced engineering environment. In this role the person will need to be familiar with storage virtualization, block level cache, distributed systems, complex data structures, multi-threaded programming, and file systems. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Implement storage virtualization components, unit tests, and integration tests that meet aggressive code coverage goals.
Collaborate with peers and architects to design storage virtualization components. Write design specifications to ensure a coherent view of the system.
Collaborate with product management to define requirements. Write functional specifications to ensure a coherent view of the deliverables.
Collaborate with control plane and hardware teams on cross functional design and interface definition.
Collaborate with test team on use cases and test design.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Typically 6-10 years experience.
