Job Description:

Be part of a collaborative team that is driving high impact advertising, brand marketing, and external and internal communications programs for State Street Global Advisors – the asset management division of State Street, the third largest asset manager and creator of the world’s first ETFs.

                                        

In this role, you will play an integral role in helping to drive adoption of a new brand strategy across the organization. You will be responsible for working with business leaders, marketing colleagues and agencies to help drive a major brand repositioning across platforms including web proprieties, social media, advertising, sales materials and key corporate assets.

In joining State Street Global Advisors, you will be part of a marketing team whose work was the winner of 18 Cannes Lions (including four Grand Prix) for advertising creativity, a record five Grand Clios and the Financial Communications Society’s Judges’ Choice award two years in a row. 

Primary Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a wide-variety of brand communications programs targeting external audiences, including:


  • Working closely with the Head of Brand Marketing & Communications and the Brand Manager to drive the brand repositioning initiative

  • Ensuring all brand templates and creative executions meet quality expectations and brand standards.

  • Program managing major brand communications initiatives

  • Developing creative ways to communicate the overall company vision, business strategy, organizational changes, accomplishments, thought leadership, etc.

  • Supporting delivery of messages through video and other rich content formats

  • Partnering with the social media team to develop content for company social media channels

  • Partnering with channel marketing and public relations colleagues to effectively communicate business priorities, initiatives and products to external stakeholders

  • Writing and editing presentations, talking points, Q&A, memos

Required Skills or Certifications


  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in communications, marketing or brand management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
